How to reach Tikehau and Fafarua
Tikehau sits in the middle of the South Pacific, about 300 km from Tahiti. From Tahiti-Faaa airport, at least one daily flight serves the atoll; links also connect Bora Bora, Raiatea, Rangiroa and Fakarava. Then the Fafarua team meets you.

Fafarua on the atoll
The lodge sits on the south-east of Tikehau, on a private motu away from the village. After landing, the journey continues by road then across the lagoon: about thirty minutes by boat to Fafarua's pontoon.

From airport to quay
At Tikehau airport, a driver meets you for the short ride to the quay. The transfer continues by boat to the motu — your stay already begins on the water.

The lodge boat
The motu boat takes up to eight passengers plus the skipper. It handles transfers and, depending on your package, lagoon and pass outings — according to weather and sea state.
Essentials for your stay
- Daily flights Tahiti → Tikehau in general.
- Airport pickup then boat to the motu.
- Transfers included with Fafarua experience.
