Honeymoon on a private motu in Tikehau
Here, the rare luxury is not a show: it is having the island to yourselves. Honeymoon, anniversary or simply time alone together — the motu, house and boat are yours for the stay, at the pace of the Pacific.

An island for the two of you alone
No other guests, no hotel neighbours. The beach, fare poté, lagoon and reef become your private setting. You do not get a suite with a view: you get the motu.

Time on your own terms
Sleep in, read in the shade, swim, decide nothing. The house holds your silences as much as your conversations. Meals are prepared on site; nothing imposes a schedule — except the one you choose together.

The lagoon, for two
Paddle, kayak, a swim or simply looking out from the beach: the lagoon is a few steps away. With Fafarua experience, mornings on the water are shaped with the skipper — or stay at the lodge if you prefer keeping the island to yourselves.

Evening light
Sunsets from the motu, a vast sky, nights without neighbouring noise: the setting suits the moments that matter. A boat sunset can be added as an extra when sea and sky allow.
Essentials for your stay
- Motu, house and boat reserved for the two of you.
- Honeymoon, anniversary or time alone together.
- Fafarua experience to shape your mornings on the water.
Good to know for a honeymoon at Fafarua
Is Fafarua suitable for a honeymoon?
Yes. The lodge is booked exclusively: only one group at a time. For a couple, that means the motu, house and boat are yours alone, with no other guests on the island.
Are we really alone on the motu?
Yes. During your stay, no other guests share the island. The team is there for welcome, meals and the boat, while respecting your privacy.
Which package should a couple choose?
Full board suits couples who mainly want to live on the motu. Fafarua experience adds transfers and morning boat outings, useful for exploring the lagoon together. The minimum stay is three nights.
Can we arrange a sunset or a special moment?
Yes, when conditions allow. A boat sunset is arranged as an extra. Tell us about the occasion (honeymoon, anniversary) when you enquire so we can prepare the stay with you.
