All deposits are non-refundable upon receipt.
Bookings are valid and will be confirmed only upon receipt into our bank accounts of the accommodation deposits :
- 50% of the fee of your stay at the moment of the reservation if it happens more than one before the stay
- 100% of the fee of your stay is due 1 month prior to arrival.
Please note that if a payment is not received on time we reserve the right to release your reservation, regardless of any payment already received.
We will endeavor to contact you before taking such measures and remind you of the payments that you must make. We ask you to keep us informed of any changes to your contact information.
We can in no way be held responsible for the cancellation of your reservation if we do not manage to join within the time limits.
Changes to a Booking
All these situations are dealt with on a case by case basis and are subject to the discretion of the Board of Directors of TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island. All deposits are non-refundable. Once the booking is confirmed, a decrease in guest numbers will not result in a rate reduction. You can increase guest numbers at any time, within our capacity, however an additional cost will apply according to the rates advertised above.
Changes to the dates of a booking can only be taken into account depending on availability and with our written agreement.
Force Majeure
If your arrival is made impossible because of war, terrorism or major weather events (hurricane, cyclone, tsunami), or if you are advised by your government that it is unsafe to travel, we will do all we can to make it easy for you to postpone your holiday to a futture date according to availabilities.
If you are forced to leave early due to hurricane, tornado, or any severe weather conditions, we will strive to offer the best alternative dates equivalent to the number of days lost at a future time. Please contact us if you have any concerns about traveling due to war, terrorism or severe weather conditions.
TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island EURL will not be liable for any cancellation which results from the Client’s default.
Under no circumstances will the Owner be liable to the Client for any refund of the sums already paid.
Changes and Cancellations by TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island EURL
TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island EURL through its manager (hereinafter referred to as : the Manager) reserves the right to alter or cancel a part or the whole of the booking, if conditions do not allow to perform or deliver the services it is contractually obliged to provide to the Customer in satisfactory conditions. TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island EURL will advise the Client of any changes or cancellations as soon as reasonably possible.
The changes initiated and proposed by TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island EURL to the Client, who shall not be obliged to accept them, will not be charged to the Client.
If no such alternative arrangements are offered by TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island EURL, or if the Client does not accept any such offered alternative arrangements, then the Client may reject his booking. The manager will cancel the booking and repay the sums already received or proportionally to the time of delivery already paid and still to be executed if the stay is already started.
Under no circumstances will TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island EURL be liable to the Client in the event of a change (whether material or otherwise) which does not lead to a cancellation.
The liability of TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island EURL in the event of a cancellation shall be limited to a refund of monies as provided above.
Other provisions of cancellation.
Without prejudice to the provisions set out above regarding cancellations, TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island EURL reserves the right to cancel any services it is contractually obliged to provide to the Guest and to require the Guest to leave TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island without any delay if the Manager considers that the conduct of the Guest has caused or will cause loss, damage or injury to TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE EURL Private Island or a part thereof , or is unacceptable to the other guests, staff or the Manager. In this case , the Manager will proceed to the repatriation of the Guest to Tikehau Airport after the Guest pays for his drinks, and the monies already received will not be refunded under any circumstances . In addition, the Guest shall indemnify TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island EURL (for itself and on behalf of its agents and employees) for any loss , damage or injury.
Liability of TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island EURL
We accept no liability for ensuring that the accommodation which you book with us is provided as described herein.
Safes are provided to Guests, who need to store their personal belongings, valuables, methods of payment, cash and IDs. TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island EURL declines any responsibility in case of loss or theft.
TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island EURL will not be liable for loss or injury outside its control suffered by the Guest. You must obtain suitable insurance to cover this.
TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE Private Island EURL shall not be obligated to make any payments on those circumstances other than the repayments referred to in our Terms and Conditions previously.
In all cases and particularly in cases of dispute of these terms and conditions, or for any dispute arising from their application, only the courts of French Polynesia will be competent.
Address for service
For the implementation of these terms and conditions and their consequences, the parties elect address at the headquarters of TIKEHAU FAFARUA LODGE EURL Private Island in French Polynesia.
